Kundapur, Sep 10: In a touching farewell at Aloor Government High School in Byndoor taluk, co-teachers and students were moved to tears as they bid goodbye to their physical education teacher, who was transferred to another school.

Located in a rural area, Aloor Government High School has seen many of its students reach interstate levels in sports under the guidance of their physical education teacher. His transfer left the entire school emotional.

Praveen Kumar Shetty, a resident of Harkoor, served as the physical education teacher at Aloor Government High School for 10 years. Thanks to his dedication, numerous students competed in various sports competitions every year, bringing home hundreds of prizes. Villagers often praised Praveen's hard work. He was beloved by all students, as he trained both higher primary and high school students equally and without discrimination. Recently, he was transferred to Hykady Government School as per government orders.

The farewell ceremony at the school was filled with emotion. Groups of students, with tears in their eyes, fell at Praveen’s feet, expressing their deep gratitude. Even the co-teachers were emotional, recognizing the immense dedication Praveen had shown to the school and its students. Praveen was credited with bringing honour to the school through his pro-social approach and tireless efforts. The school staff wished him continued success and honour in his new role at Hykady Government School.
