Kasargod, Sep 15: A young man lost his life in a collision between a car and a scooter near Nellikatte, under the Bekal police station limits.
The deceased has been identified as Siddharth (23) from Kotikulam. Another rider, Vaishnav (22), sustained injuries and has been admitted to the hospital. Both were critically injured in the accident, and despite being rushed to the hospital, Siddharth could not be saved.
Vaishnav has been shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru for further treatment. Siddharth was reportedly a kabaddi player.
Bekal police have conducted an investigation and prepared a report.
