Mangaluru, Sep 21: First Neuro Advanced Stroke Centre has been awarded the prestigious Angels Award 2024 by the World Stroke Organization (WSO) for its exceptional commitment to stroke care. The award, signifying the ‘Gold Standard in Stroke Care’, was presented in recognition of the hospital's outstanding efforts in delivering high-quality stroke care.

The Angels Award is globally renowned as a symbol of excellence in stroke care, and the recognition underscores First Neuro's adherence to the highest global standards in treating stroke patients. The award ceremony took place on Saturday September 21 at the hospital premises with Rohan Gouri representing the World Stroke Organization, Angels Award initiatives as the chief guest. Gouri handed over the award and delivered a key note address emphasizing the significance of advanced stroke care in improving patient outcomes.

Dr Raghavendra, consultant neurologist from First Neuro Hospital, welcomed the gathering and presented stroke related data, highlighting the hospitals achievement and progress in stroke treatment.

Dr Rajesh Shetty, medical director of First Neuro Hospital, expressed gratitude on behalf of the entire team and said, “We are honored to receive the Angels Award from the World Stroke Organization.
