Kundapur: One dead in car-bus collision near Araate bridge

Kundapur, Sep 24: A man tragically lost his life in a car-bus collision near Araate bridge at Mulikatte on NH 66 on Monday night. The deceased has been identified as Nazeer from Bhatkal.

Nazeer was traveling with his family from Mangaluru to Bhatkal when a technical issue forced them to stop near Araate bridge on NH 66. While inspecting the car, Nazeer was hit by a bus traveling from Kundapur to Gangolli as he attempted to re-enter the vehicle. The bus struck the car door, leaving him critically injured.

Though Nazeer was rushed to a private hospital in Kundapur, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The Gangolli police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

    ideally when a driver gets down from his vehicle in night...should first place the triangle reflector at least 10 feet behind or side from car...otherwise it will prove fatal....RIP..but aise third world country mein kaun kisko samjaaye?
