Udupi, Sep 26: A girl and a boy, both college students, have gone missing after leaving their homes under the jurisdiction of Shirva police station.

Disha Pai (19), daughter of Vivek Pai and a resident of Moodubelle, is the missing girl. She was a second-year BBA student at a college in Udupi. On the morning of September 23, she left home, stating she was going to college but did not return. Her phone has been switched off, and inquiries with her classmates revealed that she did not attend college on Monday, September 23. A case has been registered at the Shirva police station following a complaint by her father, Vivek Pai.

Dhanush G Purusha (20), son of Ganesh Purusha and a resident near Brahmalingeshwara temple in Kattingeri Boothabettu, also went missing. He left home around 7 am on September 23, saying he was going to play the Chende drums but did not return. Dhanush is a second-year degree student at a private college near Padubelle Pajaka. Inquiries with his classmates and relatives have yielded no results. Shirva police are continuing the investigation.
