The contest received a tremendous response from the audience. More than 900 participants from across the state and even from neighbouring states and abroad too.

Participants were encouraged to submit their best photographs showcasing the various facets of Lord Krishna. The little munchies dressed and posed as Sri Krishna have caught the attention of the judging panel.

Santhosh Korangrapady, photographer and member of the judging panel expressing his views as a judge for the contest said, “It was very difficult to deliver the final judgement. Based on the rules and regulations and considering the photographical concepts, we have declared the results. There was a rule which clearly stated not to put watermark for photographs, but few of the very good images had watermark on it and hence they could not be considered. My request for the participants is to take care of these rules and regulations in the upcoming contests and send the entries as mentioned in the rules.”

Pradeep Uppor, another photographer and member of the judging panel said, “We had received an amazing response for the contest. Excellent photographs were sent for the contest and it was a very difficult decision to declare winners. In some cases, due to very minimal errors, the photographs had to be kept out of the final rounds. My request for participants is to go through the rules and regulations of the contest thoroughly and send the entries.”+
