Bantwal, Oct 4: In a significant boost for local residents, the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has launched a new bus service from Mangaluru to the revered Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple in Polali. The inauguration took place on Friday, marked by a traditional pooja at the KSRTC premises in Polali.

This eagerly anticipated service will connect the temple with key areas including Benjanapadavu, Kalpane, Kadegoli, Farangipete, and Padeel, making it easier for devotees and tourists to access this important cultural landmark.

For years, locals have voiced their desire for a government bus service to Polali, and their wishes have finally been granted. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Brahmarakotlu Yakshamitra members and local leaders, this long-standing demand has come to fruition, coinciding with the auspicious Navaratri festival.

Local residents expressed their excitement, stating that the bus service will not only ease travel but also promote the rich cultural heritage of the region. The service is expected to continue beyond the Navaratri celebrations, providing a reliable transport option for the community.

With this new connection, the spiritual journey to Sri Rajarajeshwari Temple is now more accessible than ever, fulfilling a dream that many have cherished for years.
