Beltangady: Bike hits road divider, rider killed on spot

Beltangady, Oct 11: A bike rider died on the spot after his two-wheeler collided with a road divider near Guruvayanakere Shaktinagara.

The deceased has been identified as Sudheesh (30), a resident of Katte in Tenkakarandoor village.

Police arrived at the scene, conducted an inspection, and registered a case. The body has been shifted to Beltangady government hospital.

Sudheesh, a painter, was returning home from Uppinangady on Thursday when the accident occurred. Two lamps on the divider were also damaged in the incident. Sudheesh sustained severe head injuries and died instantly.

He is survived by his father, two sisters, and two brothers.
