One dead as tourist car overturns, plunges into paddy field near Kerekodi in Shivamogga dist

Shivamogga, Oct 13: A tragic accident occurred near Kerekodi in Shivamogga district on Sunday when a tourist car heading to Sigandur overturned, resulting in the death of a 26-year-old man from Nelamangala, Bengaluru. The driver lost control of the vehicle, which then fell into a nearby paddy field.

The car was carrying a group of youths from Bengaluru on their tour. In addition to the deceased, several passengers sustained serious injuries, including Nandan from Kodagu, Kodanda from Kolar, Bharath from Hassan, and Yogesh from Mandya.

Kumsi police have arrived at the scene and are investigating the incident further.
