LIC team emerges champions in All India Govt Undertaking Enterprises' athletics meet

Bengaluru, Oct 22: The LIC team emerged as champions in the recently held All India Govt Undertaking Enterprises' athletics meet in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.

LIC team member Joylin Lobo won gold medals in long jump and triple jump, as well as silver medals in the 4x100 and 4x400 meters relay races. Suprit Raj secured gold in high jump, while Shahjahani bagged gold in javelin and shot put, along with a silver in the 4x100 meters relay race.

Harshini won gold in high jump and silver medals in triple jump and the 4x400 meters relay race. LIC emerged as champions in five sections.

In addition to being the overall champions in both the men's and women's sections, the LIC team also bagged the men's field and track champion and women's field champion awards. In a press statement, LIC congratulated the team members for their impressive achievements.
