Canada, Oct 24: The Mangalorean Association of Canada (MAC) under the dynamic leadership of Vijay Dante the president, Janet D’Souza the vice-president and the MAC executive committee, is all set to the highly anticipated premiere the first-ever show in North America the much-awaited Konkani movie ‘Payann - A timeless legacy’ which topographies the ‘Konkani Musical Love Triangle’ to be held at the renowned Central Parkway Cinemas in Mississauga, Canada on Saturday November 9 at 3 pm.
The story of Payann is penned & directed by Konkani music maestro Joel Pereira who expertly depicted the musician’s life, filled with moments of joy, sorry, and competition. The concept and songs by Yodelling King Melwyn Peris and produced by Neeta Peris under the 'Sangeeth Ghar' productions banner. This debut film by Sangeeth Ghar tells the heartfelt story of a young musician’s journey, beautifully set against a captivating musical background. Payann showcases the visual splendor of Konkani's rich music along with a love story. Certainly, this movie promises to be a cinematic treat for the audience.

The premiere show of 'Payann' was held on September 15 at Big Cinemas in various parts of India, which saw an overwhelming response from the audience. Payann will be released in the Gulf countries, Israel, Germany, Australia, Ireland and the USA in the coming days.
