Veena Malik Demands Rs 10 Crore as Damages from Magazine

Mumbai, Dec 5: Pakistani sensation Veena Malik has now gone ahead and demanded her offenders to pay a whopping sum of Rs 10 crore within a period of 24 hours for materially misrepresenting her in ‘nude’ photographs. In the notice, Veena also stated that she was ‘decieved’ and ‘induced’ to take the photo shoot.

The queen of controversies, Veena Malik, was back in the spotlight recently for allegedly posing nude for the cover of FHM India magazine with an ‘ISI’ tattoo on her arm. However, Veena has clearly denied saying that she did not pose nude for the magazine. She has also threatened to sue the magazine. On the other hand, the editor of the magazine, Kabeer Sharma, claims that he has a video and an email from Malik which proves the authenticity of the cover photo.

Veena now claims that the offences against her are punishable under the Indian Penal Code and the Information and Technology Act, 2000.

In her notice, Veena has her offenders to cease and desist from continuing with the publication and circulation of her nude photo images in the issue of your magazine FHM December 2011; to withdraw the circulation of her nude photographs on the internet and also the circulation of physical copies of the publication of their forthcoming issue FHM, December 2011 from the market and to pay her a sum of Rs 10 crore as and by way of monetary damages caused to her by the illegal act.
