Udupi, Nov 2: In celebration of Karnataka Rajyotsava, Lions Club Udyavar Sunshine held an event in association with local Sampigenagara auto-rickshaw drivers and owners.
Prominent MCC Bank employee and Lion Ritesh D'Souza spoke about the significance of Karnataka Rajyotsava. Following this, Karnataka Rajyotsava flags and shawls were distributed to all the auto-rickshaw drivers and attendees.
On this occasion, Bhoomi Nyaya Mandali member Lion Royce Fernandes, Lions Club Udyavar Sunshine president Lion Ronald Rebello, secretary Lion Gerald Pereira, treasurer Lion Anil Menezes, and representatives of the Sampigenagara Auto-Rickshaw Association, Santosh and Ravi, Club members and local residents were also in present.
The event director, Lion Edwin Lewis, welcomed the gathering, Lion Ivan D'Silva gave the vote of thanks and Lion Steven Colaco compered the programme.
