Dev was a great talented cine artist of our time,I remember to have seen him and his group in early 70's while they were shooting a hindi movie in Nandi Hills,When Dev was travelling from Bombay to Bangalore in his Vauxhaul car which he had imported from UK had a brush on its right side front mudgaurd by a state transport near Nelamangala,He narrowly escaped from death. His car was brought in a truck to Lalbaugh Road Garage for tinkering and painting,Dev was so upset about the minor accident he cancelled the shooting and went back to Bombay and came back to Bangalore after a few weeks and continued. He was a very high caliber artists and our present day film artists have to learn a lot from all these iconic actors like Dev,Raj Kapoor,Dilip Kumar,Raaj Kumar,Jitendra,Rajendra kumar.May his soul rest in peace.

I saw Dev Anand for the first time on my very first day in mumbai in Hare Rama Hare Krishna. That was January 1972. It is very difficult to believe that Dev Anand Sir is grwon enough old to die. He will remain in the memory for ever.
