Media Release

Moodbidri, Nov 13: Carmel School Moodbidri celebrated Carmel Fest 2024 with energy, creativity, and unity. The day began with a guard of honour and a badge presentation ceremony, followed by a heartfelt prayer led by Prajwal’s team. The KG students performed a lively welcome dance, and Clara extended a warm welcome, with principal Sr Maria Gracilda AC presenting a potted plant as a gesture.

The inauguration of the fest, themed 'Echoes of Creation', symbolized the unity of nature and life. Chief guest Deepali Shenoy, founder of Edu Flourish, inspired students with her speech on leadership and vision. Anusha expressed gratitude in the vote of thanks, and a memento was presented to Shenoy by Sr Preena. The inauguration of the Carmel fest came to an end by singing the national anthem.

For grades 6 to 10, Carmel Fest 2024-25 featured dynamic competitions, starting with a Group Dance themed "season of creation." Students showcased creativity in 'trash to treasure', 'garland making', and 'decorative items from waste' contests. The national writing competition, picture composition, and sense organ competition encouraged intellectual growth, while the mono act captured the 'voice of Mother Earth'. The vegetable carving and collage making competitions highlighted talent and environmental awareness, and an essay contest on 'climate change and future generations' inspired reflection.

Carmel Fest 2024 celebrated unity, creativity, and a commitment to nature, leaving the Carmel community with joyful memories and pride.
