Moodbidri, Nov 16: On this vibrant Children’s Day, Carmel School came alive with joy, laughter and a celebration of the innocence and energy that children bring to the programme dedicated to the wonderful students was filled with exciting performances, heartfelt speeches and expressions of gratitude making it a truly memorable day for everyone present.
The event began with a heartfelt prayer led by Anitha Reshma and her team bringing peace and reflection to the gathering. Following the invocation Clara delivered a warm welcome setting the tone for the joyous occasion.
The programme continued with a series of engaging performances beginning with a skit by Harini followed by a lively folk dance celebrated the spirit of cultural heritage, with energetic moves and vibrant costumes.
The stage was then lit up by another skit presented by Clara and her team showcasing their creativity and talent.
Sir Prajwal along with the teachers performed a melodious wishing song that brought smiles to everyone’s faces and team followed by an entertaining dance that captivated the audience. School helpers along with their team presented a melodious song.
A special highlight was Diana’s appearance as ‘Jawaharlal Nehru,’ symbolizing the spirit of Children’s Day. Directed by Stefnie, this segment added tradition to the celebration as Diana, dressed as Nehru, shared an inspiring message with the children, making the day memorable.
The chief guest Hiba Sheikh school head girl addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech encouraging her fellow students to cherish their dreams. Following her, respected vice principal, Sr Preena AC, shared her heartfelt words of wisdom, emphasizing the importance of nurturing each child’s unique potential.
To conclude, Prajwal delivered a vote of thanks expressing sincere gratitude to all who contributed to this special day.
