Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 26: The twin districts of Dakshina Kannada (DK) and Udupi have been experiencing chilly weather in the early mornings for the past two days. However, the afternoons on Monday remained dry and hot, with temperatures peaking between 11 am and 3 pm. There are currently no indications of rainfall in the region.
In rural areas, dense fog enveloped the trees, and in some locations, temperatures reportedly dropped by one to two degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
In Mangaluru, the maximum temperature recorded on Monday was 33.3°C, while the minimum stood at 22.6°C.
