Bantwal: Traffic jam disrupts flow in BC Road amid highway works

Daijiworld Media Network - Bantwal

Bantwal, Nov 27: Traffic came to a standstill for nearly an hour on November 26 afternoon near BC Road Circle due to the ongoing four-lane highway construction between BC Road and Addahole.

Frequent changes in traffic routes near BC Road Circle to accommodate the construction have been causing confusion for motorists.

On Tuesday morning, a new route adjustment led to heavy congestion on the national highway as well as the roads connecting Dharmasthala and Bantwal town. The situation worsened when a tipper collided with a car, further extending the traffic jam.

Traffic police arrived on the scene and brought the situation under control.
