Mangaluru, Dec 4: The inaugural programme for the incoming MBA and MCA students of the 2024-2026 batch commenced. Students were accompanied by their parents.
The inaugural session began with a prayer song followed by the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment. Sheryl Preethika, HoD of MBA, extended a warm welcome and introduced the chief guest. Divya D’Souza shared her valuable insights, emphasizing the importance of leadership qualities, career planning, and personal growth.
Sr Dr M Venissa AC, the principal, addressed the gathering, inspiring students to embrace the college's values and excel in their academic and professional journeys.
The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Panchajanyeswari, HoD of MCA.
Session 1: Orientation on college values and attributes
The session began with an introduction and welcome by Aarol Royston Lobo, II MCA. Sr Dr M Venissa AC led the session, providing an overview of the college's core values, graduate attributes, and expectations. Session 2: Mastering the art of communication: Essential skills for personal and professional success
The session began with an introduction and welcome by Vinston Joy Menezes, vice president, MBA. Shavina Soans conducted an engaging session focused on effective communication skills essential for personal and professional success. The session included interactive group activities, which encouraged participation and teamwork among students.
The orientation programme was well-organized, informative, and inspiring, setting a strong foundation for the MBA and MCA students of the 2024-2026 batch. The blend of motivational talks, values orientation, and skill-building sessions left a lasting impression on students and parents alike.
