Zardari's Return Ends All Rumours: Minister


Islamabad, Dec 19 (IANS): The return of President Asif Ali Zardari to Pakistan has ended all rumours and foiled attempts of those who were creating chaos and instability, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said Monday.

Awan said that Zardari had a commitment to the nation and he has returned, reported Associated Press of Pakistan.

She criticised rumour-mongers who created political instability and damaged economic activity in the country.

She advised the media to play a responsible role.

Zardari who suddenly left for Dubai Dec 6 over a heart ailment returned back to the country late Sunday night. His departure had sparked coup rumours, which US had scotched.
