Udupi: Bike Skid – Pillion Rider Loses Life

Udupi, Dec 20: After a motor bike fell on the road after its wheels skidded near the welcome arch in Kinnimulky here, the pillion rider lost his life. The accident had occurred on Sunday December 18 afternoon, and the concerned died the next day.

The motor bike in question was being driven towards the town from Katapadi, when the incident occurred. The deceased has been identified as Joseph Ammanna (39), a resident of Kodavoor near here.  His friend, Neeraj, was riding the motor bike. Ammanna, who was seriously injured in the accident, was admitted into a private hospital here. Efforts made by hospital doctors to save him failed, and Ammanna breathed his last on Monday.
