Sullia: Head-on collision of cars, driver seriously injured

Sullia, Dec 30: A car driver sustained serious injuries in a head-on collision between two vehicles at Gadikallu in Sampaje village, Dakshina Kannada, on December 28.

One of the cars was traveling from Madikeri to Mangaluru.

While taking a turn near Gadikallu in Sampaje, the driver lost control and collided with another car coming from the Kallugundi side.

The injured driver has been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru.

    Whether the driver had a valued licence?Or was drunken?Some want to show their big car or their efficiency.Thank God no big injuries or deaths .One should drive on our roads like bullockcarts,.Not as in racing form .Wish him all the best.Our roads are not meant for fast driving.With bends and curves ,animals on road ,and most of the time potholes ,our roads are simply still as it was vor 70years.

    Drivers should drive slowly and not over-speed at curves.
