Abu Dhabi, Dec 28: The annual general body meeting of Karnataka SYS Abu Dhabi and felicitation programme for Moulana Abdul Rashid Zaini Al Kamil was held at the Indian Islamic Centre, Abu Dhabi, recently.
Karnataka SYS Abu Dhabi president Ustad Ibrahim Sakhafi Kedumbady presided over the programme.
RSC Abu Dhabi president Abubakker Azari, in his inaugural address, commended the service of Karnataka SYS Abu Dhabi.
South India SSF president Moulana Rashid Zaini Al Kamil, in his keynote address, said that speeches, articles, and devotional singing programmes are essential to enlighten people in a society that is plagued with all sorts of evils. He also urged the activists of Karnataka SYS to work towards this.
Karnataka SYS felicitated Moulana Rashid Zaini Al Kamil on the same occasion. Abubakker Sakhafi Al Kamil, Shahid Azari, Abdul Beary, and Hameed Saadi Eshwaramangala were present on the dais.
Ustad Ibrahim Sakhafi Kedumbady, in his presidential address, said that the large gathering of community members at the venue shows the regard for Karnataka SYS in Abu Dhabi, that has been serving community brethrens.
The election for the new committee of Karnataka SYS Abu Dhabi was held after the stage programme. Sheikh Bava Haji was elected the new president.
