Mangaluru: DC Muhilan, rallyist Ashwin Naik inaugurate bike, car show; Yuva Mana at Kadri Park

Mangaluru Jan 4: Two-time Indian national rally champion Ashwin Naik, along with deputy commissioner Mullai Muhilan and MLA Vedavyas Kamath, officially inaugurated the highly anticipated bike and car show at Kadri Park on Saturday, January 4.

The event attracted a large crowd as visitors had the opportunity to witness an impressive array of high-performance vehicles, including luxury cars like Bentley, Porsche, Jaguar, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Ferrari, and the Defender, alongside sports bikes such as Harley Davidson, Honda, Ducati, R15, Triumph, BMW, Yamaha, MV Agusta, Java, and Yezdi.

In a separate event, L K Ateeq, additional secretary to the CM, inaugurated 'Yuva Mana' at Kadri Deer Park, a platform aimed at encouraging local young talent. The music segment of the event was a major highlight, offering something for everyone. It began with performances like Sur Sangeeth and Aur Sur Taal, followed by a keyboard medley by kids under the direction of Deepa Bhat.

The crowd was further captivated by a Hindustani classical extravaganza led by Vidhushi Megha Pai, as well as performances by the Gabrielle Troop, AMH 19’s Tulu rap, and a band performance featuring retro, Kannada, and Hindi songs by SHOR The Band.

The event saw the presence of several dignitaries, including zilla panchayath CEO Dr Anand and MLC Manjunath Bhandary, who were in attendance to show support.
