Mangalore, Jan 2: The parish feast of Mother of God Church Shaktinagar in the city was celebrated on Sunday January 1.
Fr Antony George Pinto, professor St Joseph Seminary Jeppu, was the main celebrant and the preacher.
Fr Valerian Pinto, who is the vicar vara, Fr Vijay Victor Lobo, Fr Andrew D'Souza, parish priest of Bondel church, Fr Vijay Machado, assistant director Bajjodi, Fr Walter D'Souza, parish priest, and guest priest, were the concelebrants.
The vicar vara, Fr Valerian Pinto, honored the land donor and patron, with Festachi Vath (candles) after the Mass.
