Mangaluru, Jan 16: Srinivas College of Pharmacy, Mangaluru organized life science sector skill development programme in medical sales representative under the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0 on January 15.

Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, president, A Shama Rao Foundation & chancellor, Srinivas University, Mangaluru inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp and he inspired the audience by discussing the institutional commitment to organise skill development and the transformative power of quality education.

Chief guest, T P Sujith, deputy drugs controller, government of Karnataka, Mangaluru highlighted the crucial role of skilled medical sales representatives in bridging gap between healthcare providers and patients to emphasize the need for continuous learning and professional growth in pharmaceuticals.

Dr Saleemulla Khan, member, pharmacy council of India, New Delhi & LSSSDC, state coordinator, Karnataka explained about the initiative taken by government of India to provide life skills training to the young generation and advised the budding pharmacists to make the best use of this opportunity.

Dr A R Shabaraya, principal and director coordinated the programme. Dr EVS Subrahmanyam, professor, Srinivas College of pharmacy Introduced and welcomed the gathering.

Dr Padmavathi P Prabhu and Anvitha DK anchored the programme.

Dr Krishnananda Kamath, professor, Srinivas College of pharmacy, Mangaluru coordinated the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
