Mangaluru: St Agnes College alumni Sherlita Monteiro, Laisha D'Cunha achieve ACCA affiliate status

Mangaluru, Jan 18: St Agnes College (Autonomous) proudly acknowledges the remarkable achievement of its alumni, Sherlita Monteiro and Laisha D’Cunha, who have successfully passed all ACCA exams and earned the prestigious status of ACCA affiliates.

Laisha D’Cunha, daughter of Walter D’Cunha, proprietor Lifeline Surgicare, Kankanady and Leedia D’Cunha, completed her BCom integrated with ACCA in 2023.

Sherlita Monteiro, daughter of Dr Syprian Monteiro, director of the Department of School Education, and Maria Jacintha D’Silva, officer at Canara Bank, is currently a senior team member in fund accounting—hedge fund services at JP Morgan Chase, Bengaluru Sherlita has demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, securing World Rank 5 and All India Rank 2 in the Advanced Financial Management paper, and World Rank 7 and All India rank 2 in the Audit and Assurance paper of ACCA. She completed her BCom integrated with ACCA in 2024.

St Agnes College congratulates its students who have successfully cleared the ACCA exams, including Alisha Saldanha (advanced performance management), N Kirandevi Menda (strategic business reporting), Calvisha D’Souza, Archana K Bhat, Shebelle Christina Goveas, Malavika Harish, Sanjana U Bajal, Preemal Monis, Swathi J P, Nicole Sharon Mathias (audit and assurance), Serena Francine Saldanha, Ivin Melita Sequeira, Rachana PS, Fathimathu Riza Musthafa, Madhushree K, Lenvisha D’Silva, Anjolie Milagres Fernandez, Ashline Princita Dantis, Misha Aroza, Dafny Melora D’Souza, Risha Johanna Lasrado, Nishel Mathias, Salma Shazna P (financial management), Roslin Veigas, Wineva Wiyona Vas, Srinithish, Kruthika Janardhan, Gauthami R Prabhu, and Gulfin Naz (financial reporting), who cleared their ACCA papers in December 2024.

ACCA is a world-leading qualification that equips students with the latest skills in accountancy and finance, ensuring they become successful finance professionals in any field.

St Agnes College is proud to be the first institution in Mangaluru to offer a BCom programme integrated with ACCA, which began in 2016. Since then, the college has produced 24 ACCA affiliates, with Alma Lasrado (who cleared in the September 2024 session), Laisha D’Cunha, and Sherlita Monteiro being the latest additions to the list.
