Mangaluru: Floyd D'Mello Cascia elected vice president of KNS, new office-bearers chosen

Mangaluru, Jan 20: At the meeting of the newly elected managing committee of Konkani Natak Sabha (KNS) held at Don Bosco Hall on Monday, January 20, Floyd D'Mello from Cascia was elected vice-president for the term 2024-2026. Floyd previously served as assistant secretary for one term (2018-2020) and as general secretary for two terms (2020-2024).

Pamela Santos from Jeppu was unanimously elected as the general secretary of KNS.

Jerome Moras from Angelore was chosen as assistant secretary. He had earlier served in the same role for one term (2004-2006). Ivan D'Silva from Urwa was elected treasurer.

Konkani Natak Sabha president Fr Rocky D'Cunha (OFM Cap) conducted the elections, following which the newly elected office bearers assumed charge.

KNS office-bearers for the term 2024-2026:

  • President: Fr Rocky D'Cunha
  • Vice president: Floyd D'Mello
  • General secretary: Pamela Santos
  • Assistant secretary: Jerome Moras
  • Treasurer - Ivan D'Silva
