Srinivas Institute of Technology secures prestigious 4-star rating for innovation excellence

Mangaluru, Jan 21: Srinivas Institute of Technology (SIT) has been awarded a 4-star rating by the ministry of education’s innovation cell for its exceptional performance in the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) activities during the academic year 2023-24. This recognition places SIT among the top 24 South-West Region (SWRO) institutions and the elite league of 623 institutions nationwide to achieve this honour.

The Institution’s Innovation Council at SIT has established itself as a leader in innovation, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking by organizing a diverse range of activities, from level 1 to level 4 programmes. These initiatives underscore the institution’s commitment to fostering a vibrant innovation and start-up development culture among students.

This remarkable milestone reflects the collective efforts of the faculty, whose visionary leadership and meticulous planning drove the success of these initiatives, the active participation of students who brought these programs to life, and the steadfast support of the management in championing innovation at every level. Out of 5,455 active IICs nationwide, this recognition reaffirms SIT’s position as a leader in the South-West region’s innovation landscape. The institution remains committed to advancing its contributions to the national innovation ecosystem and setting new benchmarks for excellence in higher education.
