Mumbai, Jan 24: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President and Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar has called on party workers to intensify their efforts ahead of the upcoming local and civic body elections in the state. Addressing a gathering on Thursday evening, where around 250 office-bearers from 50 villages in Nanded's Naigaon constituency joined the NCP, Pawar urged cadres to work diligently to secure maximum victories.
“The timeline may seem long, but days pass quickly. Work attentively and collectively to strengthen the party's presence,” he said. Pawar emphasized enrolling dynamic new members to enhance the party's image and reiterated the NCP’s focus on addressing public concerns effectively.
Highlighting the success of past elections, Pawar stressed the importance of empowering workers and promised structured plans to keep them motivated. “The NCP is committed to understanding and resolving issues affecting all communities. Those working with us will always feel supported,” he assured.
State unit chief Sunil Tatkare echoed Pawar’s sentiments, urging grassroots workers to adopt a forward-looking approach and fulfil the party’s vision for consolidation. He emphasized empowering local workers to ensure success in the elections and assured full support for efforts in Nanded and beyond.
The meeting underscored the NCP's strategy of collective action, a strong membership drive, and sustained focus on grassroots engagement to strengthen its foothold in Maharashtra.
