The case, registered under the POCSO Act at the Udupi women’s police station, led to a swift investigation. After the accused's identity remained unknown, five special police teams were formed to track him down.

The police reviewed CCTV footage and alerted the public. With help from the locals and the public, Muthu was arrested near Vadiraj 3rd Cross, close to Krishna Math.

Good that he is held ,now dont leave him to roam about. They are only in name of begging ,also looking out like this for a chance. What does it mean homeless.sure must have had a house ,but begging might bring them more freedom as working.Put him inside ,let him work there for his stay.Should be punished.
