B-Town Showers Love, Birthday Blessings on Farhan


New Delhi, Jan 9 (IANS): Friends and family of actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, who had a successful 2011 thanks to "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" and "Don 2: The King Is Back", have wished him a "rocking" year as he turned 38 Monday.

Farhan, son of writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar, made his directorial debut with "Dil Chahta Hai" in 2001, and seven years later in 2008 he made his acting debut with "Rock On!!". He has received accolades for his talents, and is known for his distinct, youthful and slick style of filmmaking.

He partied Sunday night to ring in his special day, and will spend his birthday working on a shoot for "Bhaag Milkha Bhaag" with co-actor Sonam Kapoor.
