Mangaluru, Feb 6: St Theresa’s School, Bendur, celebrated Parents’ Day with enthusiasm as Kindergarteners showcased their talents in a heartwarming event. The chief guest, Cynthia Santhmayor, principal, speech and hearing department, Fr Muller’s Medical College, graced the occasion alongside correspondent Sr Shaila, principal Sr Lourdes, vice principal Sr Reena, Sr Chrisette, and Collette Cabral, vice president of the PTA.

The celebration began with an invocation dance, seeking divine blessings, followed by a lively welcome dance that set the tone for the day. A sapling was presented to the dignitaries as a symbol of a warm welcome.

With the theme, “A Joyful Journey of the Kindergarteners,” the event highlighted the children’s creativity and individuality. Through a skit on family and nature, action songs, and captivating dance performances, the young stars enthralled the audience with their enthusiasm and charm, receiving thunderous applause.

Chief guest Cynthia Santhmayor enlightened parents on their role in shaping their child’s growth, while correspondent Sr Shaila commended the children and emphasized the importance of family communication.

A heartfelt vote of thanks marked the conclusion of the event, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to its success. The celebration ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, leaving parents and guests filled with pride and joy.
