Kasargod, Jan 12: Farooq (25), son of P Moidu and Ayesha couple from Mogral Puthur in the district, lost his life in a road accident which occurred on the evening of Wednesday January 11 at Pannikunnu in Mogral Puthur. The tragedy occurred when the motor bike he was riding collided with a car.

Farooq was an auto rickshaw driver by profession. His friend, Moidin Kunhi (20), who was riding in the pillion, was admitted into a private hospital with serious injuries. Immediately after the accident, the locals rushed both to the hospital, but the life of Farooq could not be saved. Farooq’s body was thereafter, kept in the mortuary of the district government general hospital here.

Later in the day, a group of youth, angry at the fact that the personnel of the mortuary refused them permission to see the body of their deceased friend, broke the window glasses. The mortuary was found locked.

When municipal president, T E Abdulla, and councillor, A Abdul Rahaman, arrived at the spot to pacify them, the gang blocked their entry and sent them back. The policemen of the town police station visited the place thereafter and controlled the situation.

    Praise be upon the Lord

Like I said before, the spoilt brats of Kasargod IUML will stop at nothing less than turning Kasargod into Afghanistan or 6th century Arabia, they are well on the way towards achieving that goal. I am surprised that no body has accused RSS of staging the accident, but given the past behavious of kuttikatte? and other such worthies here I wouldn't be surprised
