Udupi, Feb 19: Residents of Manuru have raised concerns over miscreants continuously dumping waste on National Highway 66 for the past two days, demanding strict action against those responsible.
On February 17, a large waste bag was found on the highway divider. By February 18, three more large waste bags had been dumped in the same location, indicating that the culprits had returned during the night.
The incident has sparked outrage on social media, with locals expressing their anger and calling for immediate intervention.

In response, Manuru Panchavarna Organization president Manohar Poojary visited the site to inspect the situation. He then alerted KKR Company, which is responsible for maintaining the highway, as well as the Kota grama panchayat. Residents now expect swift action to resolve the issue.
