Puttur: Roof collapse at govt school in Uppinangady; holiday averts tragedy

Daijiworld Media Network - Puttur

Puttur, Feb 24: The roof of the high school section of the government pre-university college here collapsed on February 23.

Despite the weakened rafters and sheets, classes were being conducted in the building.

However, as it was a Sunday, no students were present, preventing a major disaster.

The incident occurred just as the nearby pre-university section building was set to be inaugurated on February 25.
