Moodbidri: ‘Suvarna Square’ shopping mall inaugurated

Moodbidri, Mar 4: Suvarna Square, a multi-storey shopping mall developed by Mangaluru-based Srima Nidhi (Regd), was inaugurated on Friday near the Badria Jumma Masjid in Moodbidri. The inauguration ceremony was held at the mall’s auditorium.

The new mall complex was inaugurated by Jenkaar Krishna and Yuvika Srima, children of Mangaluru-based Srima Nidhi’s chief executive officer Balakrishna Suvarna, through the lighting of the lamp.

Extending his best wishes, Alangar Shri Eshwar Temple’s Subrahmanya Bhat remarked, "When there is yoga (discipline) and yogyate (worthiness), only then should responsibilities be undertaken. Balakrishna Suvarna has seized this golden opportunity."

Malaysia-based businessman Bipin Rai, originally from Mangaluru, lauded the opening of a well-equipped mall in the growing town of Moodbidri. He expressed hopes that plans for a mini-theatre, star hotel, and banquet hall within the complex would soon become successful.

Renowned Tulu film director Uday Shetty Kantavara stated that Balakrishna Suvarna has grown through life’s experiences and set an example for others. He also commended the simple yet impactful manner in which the mall’s inauguration was conducted.

Balakrishna Suvarna urged support for new businesses and entrepreneurs.

The event was attended by Suprita B Suvarna, Matrushree Neelamma Jinnappa Poojary, Jayaram Salyan from Maddadka in Beltangady, Prema J Salyan, mooda president Harshavardhan Padiwal, former zilla panchayat member Chandrahas Sanil, Santosh Shetty, businessman Jabbar Maripalla, Ambodi Mar Raghunath Devadiga, the company's legal advisor advocate Mohan Raj, and MFC Chai Mart’s Siddiq Mangaluru, among others, along with members of the management and staff.

The event was compered by Manu, who also delivered the vote of thanks.
