Udupi, Mar 28: A daily labourer lost his life after being hit by a car near Pamboor Church on March 23. Shocked by her son's sudden death, his mother fell into a coma and later passed away.
The victim, a father of three children, was struck by a car driven by Balu from Padubelle, Pamboor.
The accused has been arrested by Shirva police.
A case has been registered at Shirva police station, and further investigation is underway.
