Mangaluru, Mar 30: Manel Srinivas Nayak Institute of Management (MSNIM) hosted an engaging edition of its MSN dialogue series with Aparna Raghunath Shenoy, IT programme manager and author of ‘Someshwara tales – Inspiring stories of moral values and life lessons for children and parents’. The session, held on Wednesday, March 26, at the MSNIM campus in Bondel, was moderated by the institute’s mentor and former RBI deputy governor, Vittaldas Leeladhar.
The MSN dialogue series is a platform that brings accomplished professionals to share their experiences, challenges and insights with students in an interactive question-answer format. Named in honour of the institution’s founder, Manel Srinivas Nayak, the series provides firsthand perspectives from industry leaders and achievers. The event saw active participation from students and faculty, led by Dr Molly S Chaudhuri, director of MSNIM. Also present were Manel Annappa Nayak, president of the Women’s National Education Society (WNES), and Udaya R Shenoy.










During the conversation, Shenoy spoke about her educational journey, career trajectory and the importance of having a clear vision while remaining adaptable. “Skills and competencies are key assets in today’s professional world. Students should cultivate a strong work ethic and a problem-solving mindset,” she said.
Reflecting on her journey as an author, she shared the inspirations behind Someshwara tales and the process of writing the book. She also emphasized the importance of extracurricular engagement in shaping well-rounded individuals and enhancing mental well-being. Encouraging students to develop a reading habit, she noted that it not only enhances knowledge but also broadens perspectives.
