Amitabh Bachchan emphasises ‘Work, Work, Work’ on 83rd birthday

Mumbai, Feb 11: Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, who recently celebrated his 83rd birthday, shared thoughts on the importance of staying ‘occupied’ and working in a recent blog post.

“It is essential to be occupied in the time of work… absence of work has detrimental feelings, and so work work work… till you can,” wrote the legendary actor early Tuesday morning.

Big B, who recently wrapped the 17th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, reflected on his emotional farewell, saying, “Sometimes, we live a moment so deeply… and yet it is ending so soon. I’ve spent more than one-third of my life with all of you, and it has been a great privilege.”

He also revealed his late-night work schedule, admitting he had worked till 5:30 AM recently and apologised for delaying blog responses, adding, “Regret never for the Ef (work).”

On the silver screen, Amitabh was last seen as Ashwatthama in the sci-fi blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD, co-starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, which grossed over Rs 1,000 cr worldwide. His illustrious career spans decades with iconic films such as Sholay, Deewar, Anand, Don, Agneepath, Black, Piku, and Pink.
