New Delhi, Apr 6: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has issued a passionate call to the youth of Bihar, urging them to participate en masse in the "White T-Shirt" movement, commencing Monday. He aims to send a potent message that the people of Bihar are no longer willing to be swayed and are prepared to forge their own destiny.
In a video appeal posted on his social media platforms, Gandhi sought widespread support for the "White T-Shirt" movement in Bihar, ahead of his scheduled visit to the state's Begusarai district on April 7.
"The Stop Migration, Give Jobs Yatra will provide the world with a glimpse of your struggles, your suffering, and the resolute spirit of Bihar's youth," he asserted in the video message, imploring them to "demonstrate their collective strength."

"This message is directed at every resident of Bihar. I will be in Begusarai on April 7. I will stand shoulder to shoulder with you, amplifying your voices on issues such as inflation, unemployment, privatization, paper leaks, and all other matters that adversely affect you and your families," he declared in the video.
The "Palayan Yatra" aims to channel the energy of the youth towards building a new Bihar, a land brimming with fresh opportunities.
"The youth of Bihar will no longer be misled or succumb to anyone's authority. They will unite and construct a new future for themselves," he stated, encouraging young people to share the video within their social networks.
Gandhi's visit to Bihar, which is scheduled to hold Assembly elections later this year, follows the Congress party's recent appointment of new district presidents in the state. The AICC announced new presidents and working presidents for all 40 organizational districts of Bihar last week.
During his visit, Gandhi is also expected to conduct a review of the party's election strategy with the newly appointed district heads and formulate a roadmap for the upcoming elections.
Meanwhile, the BJP has voiced strong objections to Gandhi's visit to Bihar, predicting that it will result in another political setback for the Congress party.
"Rahul Gandhi has effectively sunk the Congress ship nationwide. He will replicate this in Bihar. Wherever he campaigns, the Congress suffers. The electoral outcomes in Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Delhi serve as stark examples," BJP state chief Dilip Jaiswal said mockingly. "I express gratitude to Rahul Gandhi for his role in the Congress's downfall and for dedicating his youth to this endeavor. He has now transitioned into a 55-year-old youth. He is poised to sink the Congress in Bihar as well."
