Mumbai, Apr 12: “If Lord Rama became God, it was because of Hanuman. Celebrating Hanuman's birth is, in essence, a celebration of Rama’s divinity. This ‘Kala Sambhrama’ (festival of arts) reflects the essence of Lord Rama’s ideals. No endeavour succeeds without the support of admirers. The dedication showcased by Ashok in organising this artistic event is commendable. Through his relentless efforts, Ashok Kodiyadka has become a pole star in the world of arts,” said Kadandale Suresh Bhandary, president of Geetambika Temple, Asalpha, presiding over the event.
He further stated, “In Mumbai, if there is one artiste who has brilliantly executed the tradition of chariot festivals, it is Ashok Kodiyadka. Such artists must be encouraged and nurtured. It is because of Mumbai’s art-loving community that art is still alive here today.”
