Mangaluru, Apr 25: ‘Daivik Amrith Charitable Trust Mangaluru’ has organized a unique music-dance-acting-sound-light programme named ‘Effatha’ on Sunday, April 27, at Cordel Church grounds in Mangaluru, for the Health and Education Fund Project, on the occasion of the Jubilee Year of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Based on the parables of Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Holy Bible, a message will be given to children, young people, couples, and the elderly in this unique programme of music, dance, acting, sound, and light show.

The play is written by Rohan Adkabare, directed by Christopher Ninasam, and composed by Roshan D’Souza Angelore.
This trust, which started as a Konkani monthly magazine, Daivik Amrith, has made its own mark through Daivik Amrith Media and Daivik Amrith Pilgrimages for the past 19 years.
The trust has been providing environmental and health awareness among ordinary people through various social programs, financial assistance for higher education to poor students, and financial assistance for the treatment of the sick.
The bishop of Mangalore diocese, Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, will preside over the programme. The programme is free to all and everyone has been invited to this programme by the trustee of ‘Daivik Amrith Charitable Trust’, Fr Andrew D’Souza.
