Mumbai, Apr 29: Actress Mouni Roy, whose deep affection for dance is widely known, celebrated International Dance Day with a captivating performance that has garnered admiration from fans and fellow celebrities alike.

Mouni took to her social media platform to share a beautifully choreographed fusion routine, seamlessly weaving together the intricate elements of classical Kathak with fluid contemporary movements. Dressed in an elegant pink attire that accentuated her graceful gestures, Mouni's performance quickly resonated with netizens, drawing an outpouring of love and appreciation.

Mouni flawlessly executed her dance routine with impeccable footwork, seamless transitions, and expressive hand gestures (mudras), all set to the soothing melody of Swanand Kirkire's "Bawra Mann Dekhne Chala Ek Sapna." Captioning her post, Mouni wrote, "Let your heart lead & feet follow; happy dance day #dancedayeveryday."

On the professional front, Mouni is gearing up for her next cinematic venture, Sanjay Dutt's "The Bhootnii." Reflecting on the demanding nature of the drama, the "Naagin" actress revealed that she spent 45 nights suspended in a harness for an average of 10 to 11 hours each night.

Sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses from the shoot on her Instagram, Mouni wrote, "For 45 nights, I danced with gravity, 10/11 hours at a time—me and my harness, reluctant partners at first. But somewhere between the bruises and the balance, we fell into rhythm. Now it holds me tighter than fate and lifts me better than caffeine ever could!!!!! P.s we literally hung out by ourselves on tree tops all night every night x P.p.s you must go to the cinemas to watch #TheBhootni on the 1st of May or else I’ll haunt you forever."

In "The Bhootnii," Mouni will portray a supernatural character named Mohabbat. Directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, the film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Palak Tiwari, Sunny Singh, Asif Khan, and BeYouNick. Produced by Deepak Mukut, Sanjay Dutt, and Maanayata Dutt, the movie is slated for release on May 1st.
