Mangalore: Three Injured in Serial Accident at Ullal

Mangalore, Jan 25: Three persons were injured when the car they were travelling in hit against a KSRTC bus and another car moving from the opposite direction.

The accident occurred when the driver of the car was trying to overtake the bus near Talapady on Tuesday January 24. All the injured are from Kerala.

The injured have been identified as Mohammed Mujeeb (23) from Kasargod Chattanchal, Amin Ahmed (23), and Ahmed Samir T A (23), both from Vandichchal. The condition of Mujeeb is stated to be serious. The injured were admitted into a private hospital in the city.

Ahmed Samir was to leave for the Gulf region on Wednesday. He was on his way to the city to buy things necessary during his stay in the foreign country. The government bus was moving towards Kasargod.

A case stands registered in Ullal police station. Investigation has been undertaken.
