Mangaluru: SSLC-1 revaluation boosts results in Dakshina Kannada

Mangaluru, June 8: Following the revaluation and re-totalling of answer scripts, the SSLC-1 exam results in Dakshina Kannada district have seen a notable improvement, both in overall pass percentage and in the number of students declared successful.

Out of 27,795 students who had registered for the exam, 25,326 were initially declared passed, recording a pass percentage of 91.12%. After revaluation, the number of pass students has increased to 25,470, pushing the pass percentage to 91.64%.

Breakdown of revised results by taluk:

  • Bantwal: 4,990 out of 5,678 students passed (previously 4,963)

  • Beltangady: 3,709 out of 3,968 (previously 3,683)

  • Mangaluru North: 4,609 out of 4,980 (previously 4,598)

  • Mangaluru South: 4,346 out of 4,847 (previously 4,307)

  • Moodbidri: 1,794 out of 1,905 (previously 1,780)

  • Puttur: 4,331 out of 4,582 (previously 4,311)

  • Sullia: 1,691 out of 1,835 (previously 1,684)

There has also been an increase in the number of schools that secured a 100% pass rate. Initially, 149 schools had achieved this feat—49 government, 10 aided, and 90 private institutions. After revaluation, these numbers rose to 62 government, 13 aided, and 97 private schools, totalling 172.
