Mangaluru, Jun 21: Lourdes Central School conducted parent–teacher interactive sessions for all classes (I to XII) in the month of June 2025. The sessions, held at various venues on campus, brought together parents, teachers and school leaders in a shared endeavour to support student growth. Across all classes, the events opened with prayer songs led by students, followed by teacher introductions and curriculum presentations. The principal, Fr Johnson L Sequeira, addressed the gatherings, highlighting the importance of collaboration in ensuring holistic student development.
A consistent feature across all sessions was the introduction of the upgraded school app, explained in detail by Shobhit, along with encouragement for parents to actively use it for updates and progress tracking. Parents were also introduced to the newly appointed academic coordinators Lynette Pereira, Shanthi Menezes, Sunitha K, and Deepa D’Souza and the vice principal, Anita Thomas, with renewed emphasis on strengthening communication and feedback loops.

The school’s continued investment in student welfare and infrastructure was reflected in the seamless integration of supportive amenities such as the thoughtfully designed daycare programme, the forward-looking innovative lab that nurtures experiential learning, and the recently refurbished and spacious computer lab, which together signify a learning environment that is as progressive as it is student-centred. Elections for PTEC (Parent–Teacher Executive Committee) members were conducted at each session, further reinforcing a spirit of partnership between school and home.
