Tokyo, Jun 25: Fans of time-travel romance dramas have something exciting to look forward to as the Japanese adaptation of the popular Korean series Marry My Husband is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video from June 27.

Starring Fuka Koshiba as Misa and Takeru Satoh as Wataru Suzuki, the 10-episode series blends romance, revenge, betrayal, and second chances. Directed by renowned South Korean director Ahn Gil-ho, the drama explores the gripping story of a woman who is murdered by her husband and best friend, only to get a second chance at life by going back in time to change her fate.

The series is based on the Korean web novel that inspired a webtoon and a 2024 TV drama. The Japanese version features an ensemble cast including Sei Shiraishi, Yu Yokoyama, Tomoko Tabata, Ryuya Shimekake, Kanji Tsuda, and Reina Kurosaki.

Produced by Studio Dragon, CJ ENM Japan, and Jayyuro Pictures Entertainment, the screenplay is adapted by Satomi Oshima, known for Japanese classics like 1 Litre of Tears, while the original Korean script was penned by Shin Yoo-dam.

With its emotionally rich storyline and time-bending plot, Marry My Husband promises to be a must-watch for K-drama and J-drama enthusiasts alike.
