The ritual, saw women decorating Kalashas with rice, mango leaves, coconuts, flowers, jewellery, and even currency garlands. Prayers were offered first to Lord Ganapati, followed by worship of the Goddess in the form of the decorated pitcher or idol.

Community celebrations took place at Urwa Marigudi Temple, where women gathered to exchange offerings and good wishes. Traditional dishes like Obbattu, Huliyanna, and Payasam added flavour to the occasion, while devotees visited friends and relatives to share sweets, flowers, and Prasadam.
