Mangaluru: Man held for selling ganja in autorickshaw

Mangaluru, Aug 8: Police arrested a 35-year-old man from Vamanjoor on Thursday for allegedly selling ganja from an autorickshaw near Mangala Jyothi Junction in Mangaluru rural police limits.

The accused, identified as Badruddin, was found in possession of 2 kg of ganja, Rs 20,000 in cash, a mobile phone and an autorickshaw, all of which have been seized.

The operation was carried out by Mangaluru rural police inspector Gaviraju R P, sub-inspector Arun Kumar D, head constables Kamalaksha, Shashidhar and Shankrappa, and constables Sikandar, Birendra and Pradeep.
